Catholics are no different. Sometimes we just have to work a little harder to find devout Catholics who know their faith!

I appreciate your kind concern. Things are pretty good for us thus far. We're trusting in the Lord that He will continue to provide, as He always has.

I will pray for you and your husband. I know that big life adjustments can be tough, as can the role of pastor's wife.

God bless you, and I hope you enjoy your Sunday.Dave Armstronghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07771661758539438173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6422857.post-61969478556422633052011-04-09T16:40:39.918-04:002011-04-09T16:40:39.918-04:00Thanks Dave for all these references which I am ma...Thanks Dave for all these references which I am marking down. As a Baptist I am not there yet with the Catholic view of offering up suffering however, have found it very enlightening to read about. You grow up in one tradition and learn nothing or very little about the other. I also like reading Catholic doctrine written by a Catholic and Baptist by a Baptist without one attacking the other, stating the facts. After reading much on the CHN forum and another site by Dave MacDonald it has encouraged me in the vibrancy and aliveness(if that is a word) of many Catholics with regards to their faith. We lived in an area of N.S. where it was more of a religion than a faith. I seem to want to learn as much as I can. Thank you for all you have written and hope things financially are going better for you and your family. My husband is in his second year of the pastorate (midlife change) and it has been somewhat rough at times on our relationship. Please pray for us. Just felt I could share. Blessings.
