My "Official Picture" for the Year 2010

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_FOIrYyQawGI/TR2V6Igre_I/AAAAAAAADI8/5dMsC1PTIfw/s1600/Dave0810%2528colors%2529.JPG

I love playing around with Microsoft Photo Editor (especially contrast), to make portraits more vivid. The brightness was set at 70 and the contrast at 75 (both at 50 in an unchanged photo). The Gamma setting was untouched. I was trying to add some color and pizzazz to the photograph, which was a bit dark and blah. My skin tone is slightly toward peach color, anyway. I finally got my hat in a picture, and a rare, temporary skinny beard. Taken in summer 2010. Age 52 (in case you're wondering).

Nice Photo, Dave. I love these posts on lighter subjects.

And may 2011 be a better year for all of us...

Cool hat and cool pic, Dave. Makes you look like you're ready to take on this guy! ;)

Why so serious? :-)

Why not? Most of the time in everyday life we have a serious expression, not a big smile. So I think serious pictures are more representative of how we usually look, anyway.

Wow, Ben! We oughtta get that guy to take on the Democrats in Congress. LOL

LOL. I was quoting Heath Ledger as The Joker in The Dark Knight.

Hmmm. I don't know what this means, but I wear my beard and 'stache in the same style as you have in this photo, and our glasses are very similar. Hair and whiskers are almost the same color too. About all you need is to put me in a fedora and a shirt like that, and we might almost pass as brothers.

LOL Then I would have to omit the mustache . . .

You're John W. Loftus, but with coherent arguments! :)

Oh no! Someone else said Indiana Jones. It's amazing what a hat will conjure up in folks' minds! LOL
