The real "Emily Rose": Anneliese Michel (1952-1976). Go see The Exorcism of Emily Rose. It is a superb movie, with a Christian (specifically, Catholic) worldview. And, if you are skeptical, listen to an audiotape of a Russian exorcism of a 16-year-old girl. Not for the faint of heart . . . It seems to me that the Christian cannot disbelieve in demon possession. It is too clearly presented in Scripture. It may be exceedingly rare, but nevertheless real.
